Droids for Sale

$80.00

Limited Edition Licensed Print

This print captures the scene in a New Hope where the Jawas present their lineup of droids at the Lars Homestead, setting fate in motion for Luke Skywalker. Under the twin suns of Tatooine, the exchange unfolds with R2-D2 making his way toward Luke and C-3PO—just as destiny intended.

On the right, Luke and C-3PO stand near the entrance of the homestead with moisture towers in the background, while Jawas retrieve the broken-down R5 unit and its faulty motivator.

To the left, Uncle Owen debates with a Jawa over the droid’s failure, pointing out R2 as his next choice. In front of the towering sandcrawler and a lineup of droids, each a potential path not taken. The warm desert tones and deep silhouettes from the twin suns add to the sense of time and place, capturing this quiet yet pivotal Star Wars moment. You can almost hear Aunt Beru in the background shouting “Luke? Luuuuke.”
